Overseas Charities
The following are Overseas charities
that we currently support financially and through prayer. Please click
their logos (or weblink if there is no logo) to visit their websites.

Tearfund
Tearfund
is an evangelical Christian development and relief charity working
through local partners to bring help and hope to communities in need
around the world. Last year Tearfund supported over 500 projects in
more countries. This year we gave a special donation to go specifically
to the Southern Africa famine appeal.

JARS
Jars stands for Jesus
And Relief Supplies and is run by Sue & Ian Paxton who live in
Stockton-on-Tees.
The charity aims to take relief supplies and the good news of Jesus over into Romania, particularly into the Northern half of the country. We usually hold our annual Harvest in aid of JARS, by bringing dried foods to the church, rather than fruit, to be taken and distributed in Romania.
We have close links with this charity as one of our congregation went to Romania with them twice.
The House of Hope
The House of
Hope is situated in Bethlehem and is home to many children with
disabilities or special needs. They are a Christian run organisation
who aim to provide hope for the future for their residents. You can
contact the house of hope by e-mailing: houseofhope@palnet.com.

AIM International
Africa Inland Mission International, is an
interdenominational, evangelical mission agency working in 14 African
and Indian Ocean countries from Chad in the North to Lesotho and
Namibia in the south.
AIM is reaching out to unreached peoples. Through theological education and other specialised help, AIM is working alongside Africa's churches as they serve their communities.
